The Diverse Asset Managers Network's 2019 Investment Consultant report addresses one of the most pressing emergent themes in Confluence’s Racial Equity Initiative discussions: the importance of influencing investment consultants and advisors as the critical gatekeepers between asset owners and diverse fund managers.  DAMI’s report sheds important light on diversity efforts being made, both in staff hiring and preparedness to engage meaningfully with and promote diverse managers.  Simultaneously however, the report raises the troubling fact that two-thirds of firms surveyed did not respond.
