This event is only open to members of Confluence Philanthropy. If you are not a member, contact us for more information instead of using the registration link above.

In this webinar, Otto Scharmer will explore the transformative potential of awareness-based systems change, drawing from the foundational principles of his book Theory U. He will discuss how philanthropy can move beyond transactional giving to become a catalyst forhealing, regeneration, and systemic renewal. He will share why true transformation requires individuals and collectives to reflect deeply on their relationships, patterns of interaction, and the unseen "soil" of the social field that shapes our capacity to act from the whole.

This session is both a reflection and a call to action for those seeking to activate "islands of coherence" in a world facing profound challenges. By cultivating the capacity to sense and act from the emerging future, participants will gain insights into how philanthropy can support the inner and outer shifts required to foster systemic change, enabling a more regenerative, just, and human-centered world.

Otto's forthcoming book, Presencing: 7 Practices for Transforming Self, Society, and Business, co-authored by Katrin Kaufer, will be released on April 15. It offers seven transformative practices to catalyze multi-system change and planetary healing.
