Antitrust Policy
In all multi-party discussions, Confluence is committed to complying with all applicable laws, including antitrust laws and regulations. Antitrust laws prohibit any agreement between two or more companies that results in an unreasonable restraint of trade.
Please avoid discussions that could be interpreted as anticompetitive. Participants should refrain from sharing non-public information that may be competitively sensitive. This includes, for example:
Commercially sensitive or confidential business information about company prices, discounts, profit margins, or terms and conditions of sale of a company or that of its competitors;
Agreements to raise, lower, or hold present or future price levels; and
Allocation of territories, markets, or customers’ restrictions on production, boycotts, or refusals to deal, and the selection, rejection, or termination of customers or suppliers
In addition, we will not agree to or discuss refusing to do business with any competitor, customer, or company. Nor will we agree to, or discuss, any limitation on any participant’s activities or independent decision-making.
It is the responsibility of each participant in the first instance to avoid raising improper subjects for discussion. Those attending may also object and request that the subject be dropped.
All participants at this meeting are encouraged to make independent decisions regarding next steps and how they will pursue them, and to consult their own counsel as appropriate. Neglect or abuse of any of these practices may result in the suspension or termination of membership. Thank you for adhering to this policy to ensure that we can continue providing a safe and supportive convening space for our members.
No Recording, AI use, and Chatham House Rules
No participant may record a virtual or in-person meeting in full or in part without express written permission in advance and consent from all participants, including using an AI note-taker or other device.
The identities of all attendees shall be disclosed to all participants.
Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be shared outside of those in attendance.
Neglect or abuse of any of these practices may result in the suspension or termination of membership.
Non-Solicitation Policy
Confluence Philanthropy is not a funding organization, nor do we channel philanthropic capital directly to discrete individuals, investment opportunities, or funds. We ask that advisors and grant seekers not solicit investors unless invited to do so, including during all virtual and in-person gatherings. Those who violate this policy will not be invited to participate in future meetings.
