Abby Melagrano

Program Manager

Abby is a Program Manager at Confluence Philanthropy. Most recently, Abby was a Community & Partnerships Associate at CapShift, an impact investing platform helping many of the world's largest financial, charitable, and corporate institutions, and their clients, access impact opportunities. In her role, Abby provided project and relationship management for priority institutional clients, managed all event planning and the firm's industry events calendar, and strengthened business development capabilities. Previously, at the Social Innovation Forum, she supported nonprofit leaders in Boston through its flagship Accelerator program and hosting workshops for member organizations. As a Consultant Intern at Ashoka Indonesia, Abby led event planning and community building initiatives for social entrepreneurs across Southeast Asia. Earlier in her career, Abby supported the legal team at Rian Immigrant Center, which assists immigrants from around the world as they integrate into American society.

Abby holds a B.A. in International Affairs with minors in Arabic, History, and Global Social Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University. She is passionate about sustainability and the intersection between social impact and the private sector, and is motivated to leverage partnerships and capital to amplify change. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and being active through boxing, yoga, or line dancing with friends.
